We expanded operations in 2019, opening two new offices, one not far from our main HQ and one in the beautiful city of Lviv, Ukraine. We also organised our first in-house conference "eKonf", with Ekreative employees taking the spotlight to share their knowledge and insight to help their colleagues level up. Of course, we also found plenty of opportunities to live out our "Work hard - play hard" philosophy, with a family focussed "KozakFest" event at a local adventure park and a full on, "Hard Rock Cafe" themed end of year bash to rock us into 2020.

14 years experience
We started a series of free levelling up courses called Lektorium, which teach practical IT skills to talented young people. As we brought in new programming talent (including several Lektorium graduates), our team grew to over 120 people, with 40 ongoing projects. We also prioritised charitable giving by launching an NGO called ek.gift to help those in need and promote positive changes in our city and country. We rounded the year out with an action filled team time in Egypt!
Having outgrown our office space, we built a 2nd office to both house our existing team and prepare for future growth. MapaMagic became active in our city as the sole bus tracking platform. Kidslox grew to over 100k users, won several startup awards and became a self sustaining business in it’s own right, signing deals with telecommunications companies and developing further. As well as developing new products and working with big brands on sites, apps and in house tools, we also developed our presence in Germany.

With almost 100 people on the team, over 250 apps created and submitted to stores and hundreds of websites built, Ekreative went from strength to strength. In 2016 we nurtured and recruited further UI/UX talent to turn our design department into a user focussed kreative powerhouse. Our projects included work for brands ranging from Jaguar Land Rover to LG and from Sony to the NHS.
Making the move into product development, 2015 saw us kick off two of our own products: live bus time app service MapaMagic and mobile parental control startup Kidslox. In addition, we grew our presence in the USA with the opening of our stateside partner office.
Moving into the product space ourselves has helped us understand our clients needs on an even deeper level.
At over 50 people strong, Ekreative built and moved into our own office space. We also started working partnerships with sport agencies covering big brands like the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
As our team, skill base and experience grew, we made the shift into mobile app development. Some of our first applications included projects for Financial services giant Société Générale and consumer electronics multinational Best Buy. We continued to actively make websites and internal systems for a wide range of clients including banks and financial institutions like Citigroup and HSBC.
