Corvigil is a medical app developed for people with serious heart conditions whose heart rate requires constant monitoring. Collecting data via a commercial heart rate monitor device and storing it using Apple’s HealthKit, the Corvigil app gives users a warning and the ability to easily alert an emergency contact if their heart rate starts to display dangerous or unusual behaviour.
The Corvigil app needed to be simple to understand and operate, while providing fail proof health tracking and secure data storage of sensitive information.
