We are looking for a Senior Backend Node.js developer, who will become a part of our talented team and will actively participate in project development and support.
We are looking for:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript with at least 5+ years of commercial backend development experience
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools, preferably using OpenTelemetry and Pino
- Performance profiling and optimization tools
- Practical experience in writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Chai
- Strong understanding of Git and experience with collaborative workflows
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services
- Building GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server or similar technologies
- English at Upper-intermediate level
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with data validation libraries like Joi, Yup, Zod for ensuring data integrity
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend of web and/or mobile backend using Node.js and TypeScript
- Build and maintain robust GraphQL APIs with Apollo Server to support frontend applications
- Efficiently process and analyze large datasets, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Handle patient health data securely
- Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between the backend and frontend
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like OpenTelemetry and Pino
