We are looking for a Senior Backend Node.js developer, who will become a part of our talented team and will actively participate in project development and support.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- 5+ years of commercial experience as a backend developer
- Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or similar technologies
- Solid experience with NoSQL databases(MongoDB, Redis) including optimization and query performance tuning
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Experience in writing unit tests or strong theoretical knowledge
- Working experience with GIT flow
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Socket.IO
- Knowledge of common security issues and mitigation strategies in web applications, such as authentication, authorization, and data protection
- Ability to approach complex problems with a structured, data-driven mindset
- Ability to plan development process set the task, and check work results
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2)
Responsibilities:
- Build API for the WEB and mobile apps
- Refactoring legacy code to modern new code
- Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Work closely with product, frontend, and QA teams to define and implement feature specifications and system improvements
- Work with payment system
- Work with Video/audio calls
- Integrate third-party systems and services
- Communication with the client directly via Slack and calls
- Write and maintain clear, concise documentation for code, processes, and services to ensure efficient knowledge-sharing
