We are looking for a Senior Product UI/UX Designer to join our team. Templify is a high-growth mobile/web ecosystem that helps creators and businesses produce high-quality video content using professional templates.
Responsibilities:
- Lead visual and interaction design, delivering premium iOS experiences with native Apple patterns and polished micro-interactions
- Design emotionally engaging user experiences through motion, transitions, and delightful interactions
- Leverage AI tools (Claude, Figma AI, image/UI generators) to accelerate ideation, workflows, and production
- Own the end-to-end design process, from problem definition and user flows to high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff
- Apply behavioral psychology principles to improve onboarding, activation, and retention
- Build, maintain, and evolve scalable design systems and component libraries
- Iterate quickly based on product data, user feedback, and business goals
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure high-quality implementation within SwiftUI and native iOS constraints
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience designing product applications, including shipped consumer iOS products
- Deep knowledge of iOS design principles, including Human Interface Guidelines, gestures, haptics, safe areas, and light/dark mode
- End-to-end product design experience, from problem discovery through developer handoff
- Strong emotional design skills with the ability to create engaging, memorable user experiences
- Experience designing and prototyping motion, micro-interactions, transitions, and UI states
- Strong understanding of user psychology, behavioral principles, cognitive load, motivation, and onboarding retention
- Proficiency with AI design tools, including Claude, AI copilots, Figma AI, and image/UI generators
- Strong visual design skills with exceptional typography, spacing, color, and hierarchy
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, iterate quickly, and communicate design decisions effectively
Strongly preferred:
- Advanced prototyping in Figma and at least one motion design tool (Rive, Lottie, After Effects, Principle, or ProtoPie)
- Experience designing template-based or content creation products
- Experience working with product analytics, A/B testing, and data-informed design decisions
- Close collaboration with engineering teams and understanding of SwiftUI constraints
- Startup or small-team experience with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
Nice to have:
- Experience creating App Store assets and marketing visuals
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (SwiftUI, CSS) for animation specifications
- Illustration or brand design experience
- Proven impact on product activation or retention metrics
Portfolio must show:
- At least one shipped iOS application, including a link and a description of individual contributions
- An end-to-end feature or user flow delivered from concept to release
- Motion design examples (video or GIF demonstrating interactions)
- Examples demonstrating emotional design decisions and the rationale behind them
- Examples of AI tools integrated into the design workflow (preferred)
